STATUS COMPLETE
Esque

Writing / Art / Layout / Organization / Finance+Shipping
I go by Esque in fandom spaces. I'm a professional graphic designer that loves the community created through fandom writing and art, and hopes to contribute back to that in some way. I recently completed to be determined: a sunaosa anthology project, and this project is another personal passion project that is evolution of that one.You can find my additional zine experience (both modding and contributing) linked here.
Robin

Writing / Discord / Social Media
Hello, Robin here. I'm an AD and director who loves to write about, film and... be a part of gay people. My professional experience of over 5 years in the cinema industry puts me in charge of coordination, management, and correspondence between departments to bring a cultural project together. My job also involves planning, scheduling, and handling logistics for cultural and industrial projects. I've been the head of digital communication and press events for multiple international art exhibits and events. And I'm strong with 7 years of experience in script-writing and how to structure a scenario/story. So, when I'm not being very serious about all these kinds of projects IRL, I head back home to be silly and just as dedicated toward passion projects involving queer 2D people.
Info & FAQ

General questions are answered below. Please direct any additional questions to the social media DMs or email as linked in the footer.
What can we expect in the anthology?
The anthology will have 10-12 fics with a maximum length of around 8–10k words each. Every fic will be accompanied by artwork. Additional artwork not associated with fics will be welcome from participating artists as well.
What is the production/profit model for this project?
This project intends to produce:
- a free/pay-what-you-want digital version (without digital merch)
- a digital version with accompanying digital merch for purchase
- a physical book and accompanying merchandise for purchaseThis project is not for profit. Sales of the physical copies + physical merch and digital version + digital merch will go towards production and shipping of all physical products and contributor compensation, and the goal is to break even. The intent is to create a fun and accessible compilation of works with both the wonder of a physical product and the option to be enjoyed regardless of financial or geographic limitations.
How will contributors be compensated?
Contributors will receive the print and digital editions, all merch, and shipping at no cost. There is no other compensation, monetary or otherwise, involved in this project.Contributors will receive their compensation regardless of whether sales cover contributor copy production and shipping costs. Personal funds have been set aside to ensure this.Should sales exceed production and shipping costs, the additional revenue will be redirected into the project to upgrade finishing qualities or shipping material.
What are contributor requirements?
Contributors must be 18 years or older at time of acceptance.
To receive their contributor copy, they must be able to receive mail shipped from the U.S. via the United States Postal Service.
What kind of content is allowed?
Contributors will be asked to create safe-for-work (SFW) content, equivalent to a G/T rating on Ao3.
- Canon or AU content is equally welcome, but no crossovers (fusions are ok).
- Other ships may be included, but should not be the focus.
How many contributors are planned?
This project will be a mixture of invitation and application-sourced creators. There will be around 10-12 writers and 14-16 artists, with approximately half of those numbers composed of invited creators.
Why isn't there a larger number of contributors planned?
The number of contributors planned is based on several factors including but not limited to:
- The maximum number of pages planned for the physical copies to make production and shipping feasible
- Personal funding set aside to cover contributor compensation should sales not cover it.Thank you for your understanding.
What happens to contributors' works when the project is done?
A contributor's work is their own! They retain all rights and are free share or produce their work as they wish after the project closes.
